About the event
Come and watch a entertaining concert of fantastic brass band music featuring a variety of music from classic brass band pieces through to modern pop and movie tunes. There will be something for all ages to enjoy!
Oughtibridge Brass Band was founded in 1890 (so they have some catching up to do with the Church) they are based in the region of Oughtibridge on the outskirts of Sheffield. They are a contesting band which means they take part in competitions and they have qualified for the National Brass Band Championship Final three times in the past four years. Promoted to the Third Section in 2024 they have established themselves in the Section and will be aiming for further promotion next year. They are promising to bring an entertaining programme for their first visit to Monk Bretton.
